Draft Housing Element submitted to HCD, August 2022

Provide feedback on the City's draft Housing Element

Santa Clara's Draft 2023-2031 Housing Element was submitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on August 22, 2022 for their 90-day review ending on November 21, 2022.

During HCD's 90-day review period the City will conduct additional community outreach and welcomes any feedback on the Draft Housing Element.

There is very little mention of parkland in this report. Parkland is essential to maintain quality of life. There should be more of a plan for how to sustain MFA and Quimby as well as how to distribute parkland to all areas of the City
