Provide Feedback on the City's Public Outreach Policy for Planning Applications

The facilitation of inclusive community participation is an important goal for the City’s conduct of the land use development process. The City should consider setting up a URL shortener service for this use.

QR codes can be spoofed to direct people to malicious sites that compromise their phone's security. Better to print the web site URL.

Might want to specify a minimum of 3 community meetings for significant interest projects. They should be early enough in the design process for the public to propose significant changes.

Question
Many hearings are posted on telephone/utility poles in the neighborhood. What is the policy going forward for that?

Should also have minimum number of contacted parties as an alternative to radius. Say 15 parcels for small or radius of 300 feet whichever hits more people. The reason for this is that we don't notice many people in industrial areas. For example Hunter Storm Gateway Crossings project didn't notify many people. There should have been a minimum of say 200 nearest parcels being notified or 1/4 mile whichever reaches more people.

This is to all residents in San Jose !Due to the actions of County of Gilroy i was refused to be protected as an Elder and I was brutally attacked in front. No armory Shelter Wren Avenue.Gilroy ,California 95020 on January 03,2023 and Gilroy Police and firefighters and ambulance team complain to City Hall and the mayor with no help at closing that shelter down all because of the code enforcement play the role at keeping that filthy shelter open so when I was attacked on that night, all city officials ignored my cry and bagged me from all shelters run by home first run by Marie Harris and the county employee for Santa Clara Linda Jones did the unthinkable and abused her job making sure that Shelter would pass since 2009 it had plumbing issues that were never fixed and all the residents would have to step over feces and pee. There’s people that been in there for 6 to 7 years that’s how long to the residence haven’t taken a shower they’re being abused and the mayor of Santa Clara and the board members they know about it too so that’s why I’m telling you they need to be put down from their chairs because they’re so corrupted now they threw me out of California but I’m still here hiding until my date in federal court, because they have been living in the streets due to their flaws back I will get my day in court
